Sir Alf it is not so much a physique issue as one of the heart that beats within that physique. Just watch Raheem Stirling make a challenge. Smaller than Morrison but a much bigger intention to battle.
Oh and btw I remember the first time I saw Leeds Utd down at Upton Park where two midgets called Collins and Bremner dominated our physically bigger midfield.

Fact is that if Morrison were good enough he would be a first team contender. No manager would deliberately omit from his squad on a regular basis a player genuinely good enough to hold down a first team spot.

Compared to someone like a Modric or David Silva?
He does need more core strength but that is something he can fix.
Again all these things are down to how much it means to him

Ravel Morrison for me has the technical ability but aside from the attitude / psychological weaknesses, his biggest problem is physique. Too lightweight to make it in the Premiership at the moment IMHO. Cannot retain the ball and gets knocked off it far too easily.

Winston Reid most on here had him down as absolute shit until Sam arrived. On the defence side of things he's in the main got the best out of right rabble at times.
On Ravel, I find the fact no other squad players even go near suggesting Ravel should be near the 1st team squad even though he apparently has this gift of being a possible great footballer. This silence from even senior pro's outside tells you he is not the sort of man to put your mortgage on turning into a nice sensible fellow.
He's got an addiction to fucking up his personal life away from football and worse still let's his silly side encroaches on his talent as a footballer which makes him unreliable to pick.
Ask yourself this in any other line of career would Ravel be deemed an all round 'Professional'?

Rav will get nowhere near the first team squad until after the result of his trial( January, I think.) This run out was just to keep his fitness levels up,I expect.
I sincerely hope there are no more incidents in his personal life, but the result of his trial will no doubt affect his future at West Ham one way or the other.
